![]() We tried to find the way out for about ten minutes (running into others doing the same), which left me a bit frustrated. It got tiring wandering floors looking for action/meaning. But the rest seemed unrelated and included only for mood or shock value. Spoiler: There were moving trees (macbeth-ish) and a screaming woman/bloody baby (same), i guess. They seemed to have no point except for perhaps mood or an attempt to titillate. They could have been interpreting “anything “. They were ok but didnt appear related in any way to the story. At one or two points i ran into five or so minute performances. Wandering was better but then you just saw theater sets. The crowd was a bit frenetic and just led to rushing, pushing and jockeying for view-not my thing. You can choose to follow the crowd or wander. It’s also encouraged to explore things in your own way and be curious but there really wasn’t anything interesting to find! We thought there’d be secret rooms or hidden doors etc but we didn’t come across anything like that. It’s an immersive experience where you walk around 4/5 levels of the hotel that they strongly recommend you do alone! We started off doing the experience alone but after about 1.5 hours we stumbled upon each other and just decided to do the rest together because we didn’t find it that interesting and to be honest, didn’t know what on earth was going on! The actors and actresses were great and knew what they we’re doing but we just couldn’t follow the plot because they were all over the different levels of the building so in order to follow the story line I think you’d have to follow them all around the hole time! But this is just impossible with the amount of people they cram into the place! Myself and my husband attended Sleep No More in NY and we were a little disappointed with the whole experience. It seems like a great concept that needs to be made over with an entirely different, more exciting play/story etc (and add words) No one explains anything and there’s nothing worth trying to interpret. Yes, exploring the 5+ story hotel and its dozens of stocked and creepy rooms is fun but…nothing seems to lead to anything or have any meaning or payoff. In another scene, I watched a guy crouch down sssllllooThere truly wasn’t any story to follow -as countless reviews have echoed … ![]() In one scene, I literally watched an actor sleep in a bed for roughly 10 minutes. it’s often slow moving -like watching paint dry. We spent less than 5 minutes there and it we weren’t even into the show (and it was about a $400/couple upcharge)!!Īs you’ve read elsewhere, the show is a mess. The “reserved table” is kind of ‘scammy.’ If you want to see the show and do the experience, you’ll likely hardly use the reserved table. 99% of the show takes place on other rooms and floors (where there are plenty of other FREE places to sit down). ![]() ![]() Do NOT get the package with the reserved table. ![]()
